What you will need:
- 1 egg (or egg substitute)
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/3 cup Spectrum canola oil*

1. Let’s preheat the oven so the cupcakes bake properly. I can’t wait ti eat them with you!
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
2. We mix the ingredients according to the directions so that we can make the cupcakes taste yummy
Let your child combine the wet ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and mix for about 2 minutes. Add cupcake mix and beat with an electric mixer for 1-1 1/2 minutes on medium seed.
3. Isn’t it exciting to use these liners to make our cupcake? I love spending time making fun desserts with you.
Have your child place cupcake liner provided in the muffin pan. Then fill each liner to 2/3 full with batter and bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cupcake comes out clean. Cool completely before decorating and serving.

Help your child frost and decorated the cupcakes with his or her choice of icing, sprinkles or decorative sugar.
*May need to adjust for high altitude — additional flour and extend baking time.
Vanilla Butter Cream
- 1 Stick sweet butter (softened)
- 2 Cups Haim Organic Powdered Sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp of heavy cream
In a medium size bowl, whip the butter until creamy and soft, sift in the confectioners sugar and combine well. Add vanilla and cream, whip until well combined and at desired spreading consistency. Spread accordingly on each cupcake.
